What We Do

Inspired by the 1995 White House Conference on Travel and Tourism, which urged greater regional attention to the interrelationships between Federal lands, the environment and tourism, eight western states formed the WSTPC in 1996 and has since grown to 15 western states.

Our Mission

Advance understanding and increase support for public policies that enhance the positive impact of travel and tourism on the economies and environments of states and communities in the West.
